New kitchen showroom in Claremont Quarter

Cabinet maker caters to Claremont Quarter kitchen clientele

With increasing demand from homeowners across Perth’s western suburbs, iconic custom cabinet maker, Joyce Kitchens, has opened a new showroom at Claremont Quarter.

The new location brings the long-trusted kitchen, bathroom and laundry brand to customers in the area, with award-winning designers and leading-edge displays tailored to complement homes in the area.

Joyce Kitchens has been serving WA home renovators for more than a quarter of a century and has recently undergone significant operational change to ensure it really is Perth’s one-stop shop for quality bespoke renovations.

Joyce Kitchens Senior Designer Simon Cox, BA (Hons), has been in the industry for two decades. He’s behind the flagship design that’s being installed in the new Claremont store.

‘I considered the distinct styles of homes in the area and wanted to showcase kitchens that would blend well with both the traditional and modern architecture we see here,’ he said.

‘My design features a waterfall edge and stone open-shelving to add a functional and sculptural appearance to the kitchen island cabinetry’.

A kitchen needs to look great, but it also must work for the whole family. Joyce Kitchens’ designers take customers’ lifestyles and needs into account.

‘There’s a great respect for quality and our customers love to have advanced design,’ Mr Cox said.

‘We are not afraid to explore designs that are different, indeed, that’s what we offer at Joyce – the ability to manufacture just about anything – we design, engineer and then build to individual specifications.’

Mr Cox used Polytec Black Woodmatt and Caesarstone’s latest colour marble quartz, Empira White, for the display. Polished brass touches on the floating overheads and the cabinet doors are an additional highlight.

‘This aligns with current trends of matte cabinetry finishes, with white marble benchtops and splashbacks, complemented with metallic accents,’ Mr Cox said.

The showroom also features state-of-the-art handleless black Miele appliances, including a fully integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher to create a slick, contemporary and prestigious appearance.

The cabinets are functional, but unique, as internally they are coloured black, thanks to Terra Black Blum Legrabox drawers and an Hafele Anthracite Tandem Depot Pantry.

In line with the company’s expansion, Joyce Kitchens’ logo and branding has been refreshed and there are plans for another location to be opened soon.

The new Claremont Quarter showroom is at 21 Bay View Terrace, Claremont Quarter (next to Mecca Cosmetica).

Telethon Gift

There are other designs that are being featured in the Claremont showroom, including Joyce Kitchens’ gift to the 2019 Telethon Click2Bid online auction, an exquisite outdoor kitchen by Senior Designer Ben Garcia. This gift has been initiated by Joyce Kitchens and supported by suppliers Blum, Bravvo, Dekton, Hafele and Timberwest.

This extraordinary technological design will be on show at Joyce Kitchens’ new Claremont store this month.
